Plinths
The plinths with finished surface come from blocks (except from the semi-polished surface obtained by slabs from the quarry) and they are uniform: the proceeding of the surface and of its eventual visible parts can be flamed, honed, polished or coated. Plinths are used as additional proceedings to external paving and staircases (combined or not by material typology and surface proceedings). Likewise, the plinths are usually used inside buildings in order to cover the imperfections of the joints between the floor and the walls.
