sawn tiles, argentinean porphyry
sawn tiles | Argentinean porphyry
Natural surface tiles, which are produced by squaring slabs extracted from the quarry, are processed or by mechanically compressed (shearing), thus creating broken tiles orthogonally to the surface or slightly squared, or by sawing with diamond discs, creating perfectly square and smooth sides. Generally, in order to contain waste and costs, tiles are produced with lengths that are equal to or greater than the widths.
Due to their high slip resistance, they are suitable for use in paving public squares, roads and pavements, as well as paving in private buildings and gardens. In addition, in the smaller thicknesses, the tiles can be used as covering material for interior and external walls.
