Basalt tiles are made from blocks and have processed surfaces and sawn sides which are perfectly square and smooth. The various types of processing vary the original colouring slightly.
Because of their strength, basalt tiles are excellent for both external paving for driveways and pedestrian areas. They are also recommended in combination with other natural stones, in order to create strong colour contrasts.
