rapidflex
Class R2 S2 bi-component adhesive
What it is used for
Rapidflex is an adhesive for natural stone formulated in two separate components to be mixed just before use to obtain an ideal adhesive, which is resistant to freezing for laying in external areas or interiors, also overlapping other paving. It is specifically designed for bonding on liquid membranes, but its adhesion and flexibility is ideal for all difficult gluing needs, such as medium-large size non-absorbent tiles on heated paving, cellular cement, precast concrete and concrete cast in situ.
Strong points
• It is an adhesive that can be applied in any circumstances.
• It is ideal for outdoor areas and swimming pools.
• Resistant to frost.
• It can be laid over existing paving.
• High adhesion and flexibility.
• Can be used even at low temperatures 5-10 °C
How to use the product
Thoroughly clean and remove loose particles, oils, grease, paint and anything that can prevent proper adhesion of the glue on the desired surface. Stir the component B Rapidflex to make the content uniform and pour into a container suitable for applying it. Add component A and mix slowly until a smooth paste without lumps is obtained. Spread the adhesive on the surface in a thin and uniform layer with the smooth side of the spatula in order to make absorption uniform and, above all, fully exploit the entire open time. Lay the tiles and apply pressure to favour contact with the adhesive and wetting as widespread as possible. Use two hands for large format tiles.
