betonsealfuga

Hardening sealant, with a low elasticity modulus

What it is used for

Betonsealfuga is certainly currently the most powerful sealing product on the market. It can be painted over and has a very high adhesion, allowing a long sealing duration for building works. It is a neutral one-component sealant without solvents or isocyanates, with a low elasticity modulus, with excellent adhesion characteristics with or without the use of primers. It has excellent resistance to UV and weather, almost no shrinkage and permanent elasticity for temperatures between -40 ° C to +100 ° C. It is recommended for the sealing of non-structural external joints, both as a fractionation joint and as an expansion joint.

Strong points

• It has a high adhesion level (even on steel)

• The colours are made with UV resistant pigments

• The rapid aging allows quick usage

• The surface finish is very compact and waterproof

• Ideal for the construction of flexible joints

• Stable over time: it does not expand and can be painted over

• Adheres to steel and fresh cement

How to use the product

Betonsealfuga adheres without primer to many substrates when they are clean, dust free, and free from degreased loose parts.

However, on certain substrates adhesion only works with the use of primers (metals, painted surfaces,

plastic elastomers). After preparing the surface to be sealed extrude Betonsealfuga with a professional pistol and use it to push the sealant to the side walls of the joints and against the substrate, favouring adhesion. Adjust the surface with a suitable trowel or spatula within 10-15 minutes of extrusion. Do not apply to surfaces with a moisture content above 5% (measured with a carbide hygrometer). Clean fresh product stains with acetone.

Use

Excellent for the realization of non-structural external joints for external and interior areas

Usage guidelines

Urban and residential finishing, refurbishment of historic centres

Consumption

The consumption depends on the format of the tiles and the size of the gaps. Indicatively, for a gap with a 5 mm width: about 1 kg/m2 for a 30x30 cm and 2 cm thick tile, about 0.8 kg/m2 for a 30x30 cm and 1.5 cm thick tile etc.

Bonding

betonflex, rapidflex
